1. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued for paid services on the Sayon Institute of Innovation platform under the following conditions:
- Duplicate payment: If you were charged more than once for the same service due to a technical error.
- Service not delivered: If a paid service (e.g., course access, certificate) was not delivered after successful payment.
- Technical failure: If a payment was deducted but the transaction was not completed or confirmed on our end.
- Within 7 days: Refund requests for paid certificates must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date.
2. Processing Timeline
Once a refund request is approved:

Business days for bank credit
Refunds are processed through Razorpay and credited back to the original payment method. The total time from request to credit may take up to 10–14 business days depending on your bank.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Send an email to sii.support@sayonedu.in with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Name]"
- Include the following details in your email:
- Your registered name and email address
- Student ID (if applicable)
- Transaction ID / Payment reference number
- Date of payment
- Reason for refund request
- Screenshot of payment confirmation (if available)
- Our team will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days.
- If approved, the refund will be initiated and you will receive a confirmation email.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Free courses: No refunds apply to free course enrollments.
- Downloaded certificates: Once a paid certificate has been downloaded or accessed, it is generally non-refundable unless there is a demonstrable error.
- Completed courses: Courses that have been fully completed and certified are not eligible for refund.
- Requests after 7 days: Refund requests submitted more than 7 days after the transaction date will not be processed.
- Policy violations: Accounts terminated due to Terms of Service violations are not eligible for refunds.
5. Partial Refunds
In certain cases, a partial refund may be issued at the discretion of SII. This may apply when:
- A student has partially completed a paid course before requesting a refund
- Technical issues prevented full use of a paid service
- Special circumstances warrant a partial refund
The amount of any partial refund will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
